Staying in the Red Rose suites means finding yourself in the authentic heart of the Itria Valley, a land that enchants with its dry stone walls, neat vineyards, and a succession of ancient trulli nestled in the greenery. A region rich in whitewashed villages, authentic flavors, and panoramas that seem painted at sunset.

Just minutes from us is the historic center of Martina Franca, and a few kilometers away is Locorotondo, famous for its circular historic center—hence the name Locus Rotundus—the town is a labyrinth of whitewashed alleys, flower-filled balconies, and "cummerse," the characteristic houses with sloping roofs. Locorotondo is also known for its winemaking tradition: the DOC white wine of the same name is produced here, a symbol of the region's elegance and freshness. During the Christmas season, Locorotondo transforms into one of Puglia's most charming villages. The streets of the historic center are filled with artistic lights, scenic installations, and decorations that envelop every alley in a fairytale atmosphere. The village often hosts markets, musical events, nativity scenes, and children's initiatives, attracting visitors from all over Italy. It is one of the most photographed places during the Christmas season and a must-see for those staying in the Itria Valley in the winter.

A few more kilometers (about 12) and it's easy to reach Alberobello, the city of trulli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. The church of Sant'Antonio, built in 1927, is shaped like a giant trullo and is the only one of its kind in the world. The Trullo Sovrano: the only two-story trullo open to the public, now a museum offering a glimpse into life in the past and ancient construction techniques.

And more: Cisternino (16 km), famous for its traditional grills, and Fasano (12 km), gateway to the beaches and the famous ZooSafari (10 km).

For hiking enthusiasts, there's no shortage of iconic destinations such as Castellana Grotte (18 km), Polignano a Mare (32 km), Ostuni (32 km), Matera (74 km), and Lecce (107 km).

The beaches of Monopoli and Fasano are about 20 km away, offering rocky coves, crystal-clear water, and well-equipped lidos.

The airports of Brindisi (68 km) and Bari (75 km) make getting there quick and easy.
